 The California Asphalt Pavement Association is proud to support the California branch of the national "Women of Asphalt" organization. CalAPA has initiated numerous activities over the years to highlight and celebrate the contributions of women in our industry. The national Women of Asphalt page is HERE.

The formal agreement between the national Women of Asphalt organization, the California Branch and CalAPA facilitates coordination and amplification of activities. The mission statement of the national Women of Asphalt group is "Empowering women in asphalt industry careers." The goals of the group are to increase awareness of opportunities in the industry, elevate knowledge through education and resources, and provide platforms to create supportive relationships and growth. The work of the Women of Asphalt California Branch volunteers is supported by CalAPA's 501c3 charity, the California Asphalt Research & Education (CARE) Foundation (I.D. @ 99-1985283).
