The California Asphalt Pavement Association, founded in 1953, is the oldest and largest construction trade association that focuses exclusively on the asphalt pavement industry in California. The association is made up of asphalt producers, refiners, paving contractors, suppliers, engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, testing labs and other companies that make up the diverse industry. Asphalt surfaces about 95 percent of paved surfaces in California and has become the pavement of choice for public and private owners because it is smooth, quite, safe, durable and 100 percent recyclable. It makes good sense to do business with a CalAPA member, because they have demonstrated leadership in the industry and abide by the association's Code of Ethics. A brief video about CalAPA is HERE.
