FEATURED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SPEAKERS:
​Jim Anderson, CAE, CEO of Associations West (formerly the California Society of Association Executives - CalSAE). Jim will deliver an illuminating presentation about association trends, governance and best practices -- essential information for any association executive.

Sam Hassoun, P.E., CEO of Global Leadership Alliance and a former state transportation official. Sam will deliver a compelling presentation on how to develop a strong and productive relationship with local and state public works officials through the effective use of partnering techniques to reduce conflicts and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

Leila L. Moro, MBA, a private consultant and Stanford MBA who has worked for some of the biggest firms on Wall Street. Leila will cover effective negotiation techniques that are vital to the success of any association executive.

SAPA SUMMER MEETING AUG. 2-5, 2025 IN MONTEREY
The 2025 State Asphalt Pavement Associations, Inc. (SAPA) Summer Meeting was scheduled to take place on Aug. 2-5, 2025 in beautiful Monterey, Calif. Here are some helpful resources for event attendees:

• Registration for this event is REQUIRED and must be done IN ADVANCE. Those who register will be sent an invoice, and payment may be made by check (preferred) or credit card. The on-line registration page is HERE. Cancellations and refunds will be made in accordance with SAPA's event refund policy. That policy is HERE.
• An event "Save the Date" flier is HERE.
• A brief promotional video about the event is HERE.
• A PowerPoint presentation with event details, travel & location logistics, etc. is HERE.

• The event will be held at the waterfront InterContinental - The Clement Hotel in the heart of Cannery Row in Monterey. The Hotel address is: 750 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940. SAPA has negotiated special group room rates for a limited number of rooms at this luxury hotel, which will be offered on a first-come, first served basis. The deadline to book your room is July 15, although not all rooms and all rates may be available by then.
